BellePepper Cats began with a desire to care for pets thoughtfully and intentionally. Our approach is rooted in curiosity, learning, and everyday care that fits real life. We believe in paying attention to ingredients, sourcing, and quality, and in making choices with care.

We’re a woman-owned small business offering premium, single-ingredient treats made in the USA. Each product is chosen for its quality and simplicity, with clear sourcing and careful preparation. The treats we offer reflect the same standards we use for our own pets and are meant to be shared as part of a thoughtful approach to pet care.

Meet the Colony

Sandra Mejia, MA-IOP

BellePepper Cats started as a personal project rooted in caring for my own cats and wanting to be more intentional about what I was feeding them. As I learned more, I realized how overwhelming and confusing pet nutrition can feel. I started BellePepper Cats as a way to share what I was learning and to offer a small, thoughtful selection of treats I feel good about giving to my pets and sharing with others.

Belle

Belle is the leader of our colony and was the first cat to join our family. She loves to snuggle but only on her own terms and is fiercely loyal to her cat dad. She’s known for begging for catio time and refuses to eat her food without at least one treat or topper.

Pepper

Pepper is shy and cautious, often found sleeping by the window and soaking up the sun. She loves to snuggle with us just before bed and is super sweet and gentle. We hardly hear a peep from her during the day, but at night she makes the funniest noises while playing with her pompoms.

Malakai

Malakai is the youngest of the group. He’s sweet, playful, and just happy to be here. He loves every new person he meets and enjoys snuggling with Pepper and playing with Belle. He’s quick on his feet and always the first to run when the treat bag comes out.
